The Master of Information Systems Management degree program is designed for individuals who have demonstrated an ability to synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative concepts. It is a pragmatic, problem-solving oriented program that combines information technology practices with business practices. MISM is not a ‘teched-up' MBA.
Program Highlights
- An aggressive, three-semester program - The program is a fast-paced, one calendar year program for students with over three years professional work experience (May to May). Students with less work experience perform a summer internship and complete the program in eighteen months (End of August-December).
- Exceptional faculty - Students are taught by some of the most brilliant and capable teachers and researchers in their fields. MISM draws faculty from, and courses can be taken in Carnegie Mellon's School of Computer Science, Software Engineering Institute, H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy and Management, the Tepper School of Management, and the business and professional community.
