The Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) is a part-time graduate degree program designed for working IT leaders. Its IT Management track can be completed through distance learning, giving experienced IT professionals the opportunity to earn their graduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University, without having to leave the workforce or relocate. Carnegie Mellon is consistently ranked #1 by US News & World Report for our Information Technology programs. MSIT is unique in its intelligent blend of technology and management practices.
Our “anytime, anywhere” distance education approach provides access to the same information systems management courses taught on our Pittsburgh campus using state-of-the-art multimedia DVDs and Web technologies. This delivery mechanism ensures all MSIT students receive the same high-quality education whether they take classes on campus or through our virtual campus.
