The CIO Certificate Program is a multidisciplinary program of eight specialized courses that focus on the needs of those responsible for information and technology management. It is specifically designed for CIOs, CTOs, their direct reports, and other executives with IT oversight responsibilities.
As part of the Federal CIO University, these programs directly address the executive core competencies adopted by the Federal Chief Information Officers Council. Courses are taught by Carnegie Mellon faculty and industry experts. Participants completing this program will receive a Federal CIO University Certification issued jointly by the Federal CIO University and Carnegie Mellon.
All courses are autonomous; you may register for one, several, or the complete certificate program.

All courses are autonomous; you may register for one, several, or the complete certificate program. Courses are taught in three-day sessions at Carnegie Mellon's Software Engineering Institute, 4301 Wilson Blvd., in the Ballston area of Arlington, Virginia.
